I'm definitely looking forward to the springtime this year. For me and my family, this past winter is making us feel dormant - it's been too cold and windy to go outside and play, and we can't go do a lot of activities because of my limited ability to move a whole lot. So seeing Hearth and Hand's new spring line at Target is giving me the pre-spring energy that I need to get through this winter. On these cold days whenever the sun is out I already feel a little bit closer to spring. I long to wear dresses and hear the birds sing while making nests in our trees. I can't wait for spring flowers to pop up all over our yard and the leaves on trees to finally bud. And most of all, I can't wait to hear our boys laughing in the backyard while soaking up the sun and getting dirty. Maybe I should have titled this post "An Ode to Spring", haha.
